Each DriftKart D1 comes equipped with ultrasonic sensors on the front and rear. These sensors measure the distance to:
- The kart in front of you
- Walls, cones, or obstacles
- Your tandem partner’s door
That data feeds into a visual LED matrix on all four corners of the kart.
The lights respond like this:
- 🟢 Green = Good proximity, safe distance
- 🟡 Yellow = Getting closer, time to stabilize
